Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if Tiger's back will make it to the back nine on Friday ...
- If you see Chris Sale walking around, make sure you slap him on the back and congratulate a pitcher making $30 million per season for winning his first home game in over a calendar year. Well done.
- Just don't mention it was against the terrible Jays. Oh, and now the Red Sox get to beat up on the Orioles. Then the fun is over.
- After three games at Fenway South, the Red Sox will face the Rays and Yankees for 14 straight games. That could be the season and the wild-card race in two weeks. Should be fun.
- The Yankees just swept a doubleheader from the Rays and three-straight games. Red Sox are 10 back, two for the wild card.
- Caught a little of The Open. Man, Tiger looked terrible. I was surprised he didn't pull out of the tournament. What a colossal choke by Rory. Brooks is Brooks. That guy is unreal.
- The Injured Six could be very key for the Patriots this season. They almost have two draft classes coming in.
- Tony Mazz talked up my column on Tom Brady's contract. It's here if you want to read it.
- I'm getting a little nervous the Celtics are going to miss out on Tacko. Sounded like Danny Ainge was talking to his agents through the radio.
- Ainge tells the truth more on the radio than he does in press conferences.
