A mix of observations and analysis after the Celtics lost 94-88 to the Grizzlies in the quarterfinals of the Summer League tournament to bring their week in Las Vegas to an end.
Box Score
Carsen Edwards kept the Celtics afloat and made some summer league history: Scott Morrison elected to keep Edwards as a scoring weapon off the bench for the third straight game and the Purdue product was a force yet again. He took over half of his 23 shot attempts from 3-point range (6-of-14) overall on his way to a game-high 25 points, while also chipping in with eight rebounds. Edwards got himself into trouble a few times with wild shots at the rim but his ability to score quickly in brief windows was more of the same that we’ve seen from him all week long.
