WHAT’S UP: Today is the Final Whistle on Hate friendly match between the Revs and the Blues. It’s a non-competitive tilt in the way of impact on the MLS table, but we’re expecting quite a few of the New England players to make their first first-team appearances of the season tonight.

3' GOAL CHELSEA, and it's Ross Barkley. That was easy. 1-nil to the Blues. Pedro had intercepted a Jalil Anibaba clearance, and Barkley pops it in from 12 yards away.
5' Nearly an error by Chelsea as Jorginho back passes to Arrizabalaga, who gets to it before JFC does. Nervy.
8' Farrell with a clearance as the Blues were driving.
9' Jones with a dispossession of Zappacosta in the box. Not bad. Revs giving space... and Chelsea creating it, too.
17' Big Wilf with a volley looking for a charging Bunbury, but it's just a little offline. Chelsea gave Zahibo a looooot of space just then.
24' Bunbury with a header off a Bye cross... into the top of the net. It's a shot.
28' Revs lucky not to give up the second goal there, as Zappacosta had a neat, sharp cross through the box that Hazard recovered, but the Revs managed to get it back.
29' JFC dances into the box, but it gets tapped away.
29' GOAL CHELSEA, and it's Olivier Giroud heads in Zappacosta's cross on a layoff by Pedro. It looked like the Frenchman was offside, but it's 2-0.

The Revs have had about a quarter of the ball, but hasn't been able to do anything constructive with it. Chelsea out to a deserved 2-0 lead. We'll see what changes Sarri makes to get his first choice players out.

46' Fagundez, Penilla, Wright in for the Revs. Higuain, Willian, Azpilicueta, and Caballero in for Chelsea.

54' Higuain misses from point blank range as Herivaux scuffed and slowed a cross.
55' Penilla with a neat run inside the Chelsea right back, Zappacosta, and he fires toward the Lighthouse Tunnel.
62' GOAL CHELSEA, and that was Higuain off Willian's corner. It looked like it caromed off Ross Barkley, but they are giving it to the Argentine. 3-0. UPDATE: Barkley has been awarded the goal.
63' Header by Wright goes high.... and then after the restart, a blast by Zahibo curls just out of range.

67' Ruben Loftus-Cheek is down, he was grabbing his heel. He does not look comfortable, that's for sure. This could be a huge blow for Chelsea ahead of the Europa League Final against Arsenal in two weeks.
