The Red Sox kept rolling with a one-side 11-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners, giving them their fifth win in a row and fourth straight series win.
Michael Chavis, who entered the game 0-for-19, broke out with three hits and five RBI. J.D. Martinez, who hadn't homered at Fenway this season, added two homers -- a solo shot in the first and a two-run blast in the eighth.
Hector Velazquez went five innings in his longest start of the year while Marcus Walden and Josh Smith each turned in two innings each in relief.

- Dustin Pedroia, on a rehab assignment at Double A Portland, was scratched from a scheduled start Saturday after experiencing some minor discomfort in his left knee. "He was just sore,'' Alex Cora. "He was going to play (Sunday), but it just got rained out. Most likely, he'll fly in tonight, we'll see him tomorrow, and go from there. I talked to him this morning and he doesn't feel it's something major. He's being smart about it. He's not going to take any chance at this point. I was surprised, honestly. But I talked to Pedey and in his own words, he said, 'Finally, I'm smart.' Hopefully it's nothing. We'll find out (Monday).''
- David Price threw a bullpen Sunday morning and the expectation is that he'll rejoin the rotation next weekend when the Houston Astros visit Fenway.
- Officially, the Red Sox don't have a starter announced for Wednesday against Colorado, but Cora indicated that it would likely be Eduardo Rodriguez, who, thanks to Monday's off-day, would be going on normal rest.
