Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if Pat Patriot or the Musket Men are starting to field other offers...
- This is me on Opening Day (and I'm an Opening Day Guy): "Baseball is back! Love it."
- Third inning: "How many pitches are we at?"
- Fourth inning: "What else is on?"
- Flips back and forth with NCAA basketball for a while ... starts rewatching Game of Thrones.
- Time of game: 3:34 ... What are we doing here?!
- So, yeah, the Sox lost the opener 12-4 to the Mariners. It's 1 of 162 and they dropped the opener last year ... not going to get worked up.
- But ... Rafael Devers hitting third against a lefty? Why is Tyler Thornburg on this team right now? What has he ever shown? No, don't love Chris Sale's velocity — velo, as A-Rod says (he loves the lingo ... oppo) — but let's see how he is in the third start.
- Um...
- Some of this just happens, some of it is weird ... they still have Bill Belichick, Josh McDaniels and Tom Brady ... they'll be OK once they get some weapons who can beat man coverage.
- Big-ish game for the Celtics tonight vs. the Pacers at the Garden. Homecourt up for grabs!
