First and 10: Next wave of free agency dawns Monday - how will Patriots proceed? taken at BSJ Headquarters (Patriots)

(Adam Richins/Boston Sports Journal)

Welcome to first and 10, a roundup of all the (mostly) Patriots-related news you need to start your Monday. Grab your coffee and let’s get to it.

–Relatively quiet weekend on the free-agent front for the Patriots -- the only personnel loss was tackle LaAdrian Waddle. It'll be interesting to see what happens now that the first wave of free agency is in the books. And as we mentioned here last week, the trade market is certainly worth keeping an eye on. I have to imagine we'll see them import at least one more veteran receiver, either in a deal or free agency. The Jordy Nelson stuff seems to make a lot of sense, but I also wonder how much Aaron Rodgers might be pushing for him to return to Green Bay. Josh Doctson is also an intriguing possibility.

--Some free-agent receivers who are still on the market: Nelson, Chris Hogan, Randall Cobb, Michael Crabtree, Dez Bryant, Dontrelle Inman, Mike Wallace, Pierre Garcon, Jermaine Kearse.
