Good afternoon!
A few random thoughts while I wonder what the Celtics are doing with their two days between games in LA. Good, productive things I'm sure...
- With the Celtics getting their mojo back (and the dumpster fire Lakers up next), the Bruins in Coach Cal's Refuse To Lose territory and what the Patriots did last month ... the good times are rolling for Boston sports fans.
- I mean, are the Bruins serious with their 14-0-4 run? This is getting ridiculous.
- Last night was ridiculous. Down 2-0 again. Yawn. Down 3-1 with a minute left. Zzzzzzz. Just closing time for these Bruins.
- First up, Matt Grzelcyk lights the lamp. Then, after a dumb high-sticking by Charlie McAvoy sent the Bruins back in their zone, Zdeno Chara's stick got the puck — after the Panthers won the faceoff (hugely underrated play) — Brad Marchand made a sick feed from the boards, and Patrice Bergeron buried it with 7 seconds left to win the game.
- The momentous night was well-captured by Conor Ryan.
- Just a great night in the barn.
- Good job by Conor writing about Grizz earlier in the day.
- Free-agent offensive targets for Patriots.
- Steven Wright talked exclusively to Sean McAdam about his suspension fallout in the locker room.
- Pedy played ball.
- Why the MLS season starts now, in frigid places like Foxboro on Saturday, I'll never understand.
