Good morning (or almost Noon ... school vacation week is always hell)!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if that was it for biggest snowstorm of the season (hope so) ...
- What a huge win for the Bruins early this morning while you were sleeping out in San Jose.
- While it was great and exciting and makes you dreams of things that are possible, I would not go as far as young Conor Ryan and talk about the Bruins looking like a legitimate contender.
- It's one thing to go on a Western Conference swing and play really well — the Bruins won 8 of 10 during a similar stretch around the same time last year — and be a legitimate Stanley Cup contender, because the Bruins reside in one of the toughest divisions in hockey. In case you forgot, the Lightning are a wagon (plus-77; Bruins are a plus-26) and curb-stomped Boston last year.
- Red Sox owners talk contracts.
- Are the Patriots really going to put the franchise tag on Stephen Gostkowski again?
