LIVE COVERAGE:

12:29: Empty netter for Chris Wagner — and that will seal this one. Bruins make it four wins in a row off of a 3-0 final.

12:27: Empty net for Anaheim.

12:22: Bruins make the kill.

12:19: Nothing doing, and then Moore is whistled for goaltender interference.

12:17: Lindholm is called for interference — with Marchand hurting a bit after getting knocked into the end boards. He stays out fir the power play, though.

12:10: The Cehlarik-Krejci-DeBrusk line has brought it tonight.

12:00: Ducks kill off the penalty. Good stuff from Bergeron at the bumper, but they can't convert.

11: 57: Bruins back on the power. Grant off for a hold.

11:55: Third period underway.

11:41: End Second: Bruins take a 2-0 lead over the Ducks, although the Ducks have had their chances. Ducks with an 33-30 edge in attempts and an 18-13 advantage in scoring chances during 5v5 play so far tonight.

11:26: Brad Marchand nearly converts — he's had plenty of open ice to work with.

11:25: Miller blows a tire on the blue line, but Nordstrom hustles back and prevents Anaheim from getting an odd-man rush out of it.

11:23: Moore out of the box.

11:19: Silverberg is tripped up, and the Ducks will get a 5-on-3 for 2 seconds. Moore heads to the box.

11:15: Bruins now head to the PK. Wagner off for interference.

11:13: It takes Boston just nine seconds to convert, as Krejci dekes past Boyle and sets up DeBrusk for a tap-in. Boston goes right back on the power play, but the Ducks kill it off. Still a 2-0 game.

11:08: Bruins head to the power play. Rakell called for a hold on Bergeron.

11:03: Jaroslav Halak robs Corey Perry with a glove save. Not a good sequence from Boston's top D pairing after Chara can't corral a puck at the blue line.

11:01: Second period underway.

10:42: End First: Bruins take a 1-0 lead over the Ducks off of Acciari's first goal of the season. SOG in favor of the Ducks, 11-8.

10:33: Max Jones somehow didn't score on that.

10:27: Krejci nearly scores in the slot. Backcheck has been non-existent for the Ducks tonight.

10:19: Rickard Rakell with a nice look on a skittering puck in the slot, but McAvoy puts out any fires. SOG in favor of Boston, 6-3.

10:17: Noel Acciari opens the scoring by tipping home a blast from Carlo. Ends a sequence with some extended pressure for Boston.

10:13: DeBrusk buzzing early on.

10:10: Nice play by Heinen to block a shot, then the Krejci line nearly converts down the other end.

10:07: Puck is dropped and we're underway.

9:56: Cheers to all of you that are staying up tonight. Here are the Bruins Starters: Kuraly-Acciari-Wagner / Miller-Moore / Halak

PREGAME NOTES:

  • The Bruins will look to make it four wins in a row when they take on the sinking Ducks out on the West Coast. Anaheim is in a freefall this season, with the club firing head coach Randy Carlyle on Sunday. Bob Murray, now in his 11th season as GM of the Ducks, is now serving as head coach.

  • Despite their struggles, the Ducks are 9-1-0 in their last 10 matchups against the Bruins. Kevin Boyle will get the start in net for Anaheim after posting a shutout against the Canucks on Wednesday.

  • Not too many lineup changes for the Bruins, who will likely roll out Karson Kuhlman and Matt Grzelcyk for Saturday’s matchup against the Kings at Staples Center. Jaroslav Halak will get the start in net after posting his first win since Jan. 3 during a 2-1 overtime win over the Avalanche on Feb. 10.

  • Will be interesting to see if Danton Heinen can continue to roll on Boston’s top line. Since getting called up to play alongside Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, Heinen has tallied three goals and added three assists in his last four outings.
