3:43: Bruins head to overtime, again.

3:35: Woof. Kings tie it up at 4-4 with 4:47 left.

3:25: Nate Thompson makes it a one-goal game. 10:41 left.

3:21: We have "Beat LA" chants here at TD Garden.

3:19: A shorthanded goal .... for the Bruins??? Brad Marchand buries a 2-on-1 with Bergeron and Boston has a 4-2 lead.

3:15: Wagner to the box. Bruins back on the PK.

3:14: Now David Krejci gets in on the fun. 3-2 Bruins with 15:03 left.

3:12: Danton Heinen buries a rebound. 2-2 game.

3:07: Third period underway.

2:48: End Second: Bruins trail the Kings, 2-1. SOG are even at 22-22.

2:44: Carlo to the box for a trip. B's back on the PK.

2:42: Looks like John Moore took a puck off the face. He heads down the tunnel.

2:35: Anze Kopitar. Kings take a 2-1 lead with 5:58 left in the second. B's not showing much life in this stanza. Bad shift and turnover from Krejci.

2:19: Bruins open the scoring off of Charlie McAvoy's second goal of the season with 15:22 to go in the second. Great no-look feed by Bergeron and strong shift from Heinen.

PREGAME NOTES

Bruce Cassidy put his lineup in a blender once again for Saturday’s matinee, with all four forward lines featuring new configurations. The top six remains the same from Wednesday’s second-half shuffle against the Rangers, while Sean Kuraly will move up and center a line with Jake DeBrusk and David Backes. Patrice Bergeron will be honored with a pregame ceremony for his accomplishment of playing in 1,000 career games, all with the Bruins. He reached the milestone on Tuesday against the Islanders.

The Kings might be cellar dwellers in the West this season, but L.A. has a chance to match its longest win streak of the year at four today against the Bruins.
