You ready for a parade?
The Patriots will make the journey through Boston Tuesday on duckboats starting at 11 a.m. They're going to follow the usual route throughout the city -- if you're going, the city encourages you to take public transportation. --On Monday, Devin McCourty wouldn't discuss the possibility of retirement: “The only thing I thought about was that parade and that ring ceremony,” he said. “Two more times with this team; that’s going to be a lot of fun. So I can’t wait for those two events.”
--The Patriots were the only team this year to beat the MVP (twice, Patrick Mahomes), the Defensive Player of the Year (Aaron Donald), the Defensive Rookie of the Year (Indy's Darius Leonard), the Comeback Player of the Year (Indy's Andrew Luck) and the Coach of the Year (Chicago's Matt Nagy). Technically, Leonard didn't play in the Patriots-Colts game, but you get the sentiment here. They beat some of the league's best on a regular basis.

"And I don't even think we dreamed about winning a Super Bowl together. Because I don't think the dreams got that far. It was just like, Man, if we can just get a chance to play together. And now, to actually have done it, man, it's just so surreal."
6. Former Patriots de facto defensive coordinator Brian Flores was introduced as the Dolphins new head coach on Monday. "It has been a whirlwind 24 hours," Flores said with a smile at a news conference that drew two dozen cameras.
7. So the Patriots might not be part of the NFL's 2019 regular-season opener -- word is that on the eve of the league's 100th anniversary they're going to go with Bears-Packers.

9. For a town with a team in the Super Bowl, Los Angeles did not come through with good TV numbers.
10. The Patriots are getting a league-best 6-1 odds to win Super Bowl LIV, followed by the Chiefs (7-1), Rams (8-1) and Saints (9-1).
