A few random thoughts while I wonder what day it is...
- Still trying to catch up on a lot of stuff after we lost over a day with travel issues coming back from KC, so this will be quick. If you're curious what went on — I don't like to do it, sports media travel complaining is lame — I'll lay it out below for giggles.
- I WILL be on with Felger & Mazz today.
- I can't believe the baseball writers — the most self-important media group there is (sorry Sean) — finally had a unanimous selection in Mariano Rivera. I thought that would never happen because there's always some BBWAA jerk somewhere who wants to make some sort of statement.
- I don't care about lasers. And to anyone who says, "Well if it happened to Mahomes at Gillette there'd be a Congressional investigation," please stop. It's not a story because the Patriots won. If it happened to Mahomes at Gillette and the Chiefs won, no one would care.
- Some idiot brings a laser pointer to a football game and it's a story? Time to go do some real reporting, if that's the case.
- I'm surprised Conor Ryan was out of diapers when this run began.
- Good stuff from B-Robb on the trade deadline. Could be huge for the Celtics either way.
