The Boston Bruins will look to get back on track when they travel to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.  Follow along for updates from Saturday’s game.

PREGAME NOTES


Saturday stands as a crucial “four-point” matchup for the B’s — with this standing as the final regular-season tilt between both clubs during the 2018-19 season. So far this year, Boston holds a 2-1 edge against Toronto, with both wins coming at TD Garden.


Currently, the Maple Leafs sit four points ahead of Boston in the standings, standing in second place overall in the Atlantic Division. Both the Bruins and Leafs are 7-3-0 in their last 10 games.


Boston will receive a boost on the blue line for Saturday’s game, as
Charlie McAvoy
was cleared to return and will play for the first time since Dec. 23. The 21-year-old defenseman has missed the last seven games while recovering from a foot infection. With McAvoy back in the lineup,
John Moore
will be the odd man out in the starting D corps.

He’s mired in a bit of a mini-slump (0 points, minus-3 rating since Winter Classic), but David Pastrnak is in line for a breakout against a Leafs team that he always torments. In his last 12 games against Toronto (inc. playoffs), Pastrnak has tallied 11 goals and 13 assists.
