2:32: Nashville ties things up. Ryan Johansen with his sixth goal of the year — 6:59 left in the second. Rough period for the B's.
2:24: Rather - challenge was for goalie interference? Yikes.
2:22: Nashville challenges for an offside and the goal is overturned. Yuck.
2:18: Ryan Donato fires one home after the Krejci/Cave line hemmed in Nashville for over a minute.

2:12: Another crisp zone entry by the Bergeron line ends with Heinen attempting to jam another puck home at the crease.
2:07: After landing one shot on goal through the first 13 minutes of play, the B's now hold a 14-7 edge in SOG over Nashville with 17:15 left in the second period.
2:02: Second period underway.
1:44: End First: Bruins lead, 1-0. Bergeron opens the scoring for the B's, who righted the ship after a sluggish start.
1:35: Merry Christmas. Patrice Bergeron gives the Bruins a 1-0 lead.
1:33: Danton Heinen with quite a few good looks tonight. Maybe playing with Bergeron and Marchand might ... actually.... make a huge difference?
1:31: And now SOG are 6-6. Krejci rings one off the post, and then Kuraly nearly knocks one home off a scrum in front.
1:29: After firing one shot on goal for the first 13:00 of regulation, the Bruins land two off the stick of Danton Heinen in the span of three seconds.
1:28: Looks like Marchand blocked a Ryan Ellis wrister with his hand. He takes his glove off on the bench, but seems alright.
1:18: B's with one shot on goal through 7:30, but just had some nice zone time with the Cave line and Grzelcyk-McAvoy. Cave's one-timer sails wide.

- After missing the last 16 games due to a rib/sternoclavicular injury, Patrice Bergeron will return to the Bruins lineup for Saturday’s matinee against the Predators. Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson will be the extra skater. For more on the B’s lineup shuffling ahead of Bergeron’s return, click here.
- Jaroslav Halak will get the start in net today, standing as his third straight start for the B’s. In the midst of three games over four days, Bruce Cassidy will roll with Tuukka Rask for Sunday’s road matchup against the Hurricanes.
- While Zdeno Chara (MCL injury) has been ruled out for this weekend, there’s a chance that he could return at some point next week, along with Kevan Miller, who will be a month removed from taking a puck to the throat. Jake DeBrusk’s (concussion) timetable is a bit more up in the air, with the young winger still donning a red, non-contact jersey at practice.
- They’ve been one of the top NHL clubs all season long, but the Predators have fallen into a bit of a rut as of late, losing three in a row and nine straight on the road (0-7-2). Still, with players like Roman Josi and Ryan Ellis on the blue line, the Predators are a formidable group.
- "It's incumbent on our forwards not to get beat up the ice and take bad angles," Cassidy said of Nashville. "You'll see Ellis, Subban - I don't know if he's playing, doesn't appear that way - Ekholm, they get up. Matt Irwin gets up. They all do.It's part of how they play and attack as a group of five. That's the biggest challenge I think is containing those guys, getting in shooting lanes. They're good at getting their shots through.”
