The Boston Bruins will look to keep the momentum rolling when they host the Anaheim Ducks at TD Garden on Thursday. Puck drop is set for 7:00 tonight. Follow along for updates from Thursday's game.

PREGAME NOTES


After putting together one of their best performances of the season Monday against Montreal, the Bruins will roll out the same lineup on Thursday against the Ducks, with Halak getting another start in net.


While
Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara, Jake DeBrusk, Kevan Miller and Urho Vaakanainen
all returned to practice in some capacity on Wednesday, Cassidy noted that all five skaters are still not ready to return to game action, although there’s a chance that Bergeron could return this weekend.


A few Bruins are close to some career milestones.  With one more assist, Torey Krug will be the Bruins’ all-time assists leader for a US-born player, while David Krejci is one point away from his 600th career NHL point. David Backes is also one assist away from 300 in his career.


The Bruins have not had much success against the Ducks — dropping their last 10 contests against Anaheim. The last time the Ducks fell to the B’s was back on Oct. 31, 2013.


While the Ducks have actually surrendered the second-most shots on goal (1,253) of any NHL team this season,
John Gibson
and the rest of Anaheim's netminders have answered the call — with the club posting a collective save percentage of .919, which tops the league.
