Bedard's Daily Briefing 12.20.18: Celtics lose to the ... Suns? Baynes out, Timelord in? Bruins up

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I contemplate if the Celtics have caught the Patriots' inconsistent strain of the flu...

• Seriously .. the Celtics lost at home to the then 7-24 Suns.


• That's on the heels of doing the same to the Knicks last month.


• The Suns still have the worst record in the West.


• To add insult to injury, Aron Baynes will be out for a while with a broken left hand.


• You know what that means, don't you?! Here commeth Timelord.


• Bruins host the Ducks tonight and might get Patrice Bergeron back.


• But what does that mean for the lines?


• I couldn't believe how many errors the Patriots made against the Steelers.


• Boston College seemed to do well with its football recruiting class.


• Count me as being vehemently against this nonsense about graduating HS early so the students can practice in the spring. Come on, let the kids be kids. Last chance for many of them.
