FOXBOROUGH -- The Dolphins are keeping everybody guessing when it comes to Danny Amendola, but it sure sounds like the former Patriot is angling to play against his old team on Sunday. According to our pal Armando Salguero, Amendola was at practice on Thursday morning, and it appears he's trying to ramp up for this weekend's game ... with mixed results.
Just watched Danny Amendola try to run a sharp cutting route on his injured knee. All I’ll say is it ended with him cursing pretty loudly.

Danny Amendola is practicing again today. He’s on pace to play against the Patriots.

No Xavien Howard at practice which is no surprise because he is not likely to play against the Patriots.

The Patriots injury report keeps shrinking -- quarterback Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were both removed on Thursday. Patrick Chung and Dwayne Allen are the only two remaining on the report.
