So what to make of Trey Flowers not being on the practice field at the start of Friday’s session?
The defensive lineman hadn’t been on the injury report all week, and didn’t look any worse for wear when he was spotted in the locker room during media availability earlier in the week. There’s an illness that’s been going through the locker room over the last few days, and Flowers might have been caught up in that. There’s also the possibility that it’s not injury-related. Whatever the case may be, his absence was certainly noteworthy when it came to Friday attendance. We’ll let you know if anything breaks, but in the meantime, there will be some clarity when the injury report is released around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon.
