- It hasn’t always been pretty, but the Black and Gold have managed to consistently collect points with regulars like Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron out of the lineup. Entering Saturday’s tilt against their archrival, the Black and Gold have managed to collect at least a point in their last four games.
- After a dominant showing against the Penguins on Friday, David Krejci’s line will look to carry the momentum over against Montreal — with Jake DeBrusk leading the charge with six goals and eight points in his last nine games.
- Tuukka Rask will get the start in net Saturday against Montreal. Since returning from his leave of absence, Rask boasts a record of 0-0-2 with a .938 save percentage.
- After a strong start, Montreal’s defense has faltered as of late, with the Habs relinquishing at least four goals in nine of their last 13 games. The Canadiens are winless in their last three outings (0-1-2).
- Max Domi has been a revelation for Montreal this season, with the 23-year-old winger notching 15 points over his last 12 games.
