Welcome to first and 10, a roundup of all the (mostly) Patriots-related news you need to start your Friday. Grab your coffee and let’s get to it.

We've got the final practice and injury report of the week to look forward to, but at this point, it appears there some genuine optimism about many of the players who were banged up and unable to go before the bye, a group that includes Rob Gronkowski, Shaq Mason and Sony Michel. Check back here this afternoon for practice, injury updates, and the latest from the locker room.

Friday’s Schedule
11:15 a.m.: Bill Belichick press availability (media workroom)
12 p.m.: Media availability at practice
1:45 p.m.: Approximate time for player availability (locker room)
