LIVE COVERAGE:
10:37: FINAL: Bruins win, 2-1. What a gutsy win for a decimated Bruins roster.
10:31: Coyotes call a timeout. 1:02 to go.
10:28: Grzelcyk called for a hook with 1:46 to go. Expect Arizona to pull their goalie if they can't get anything going early.
10:12: B's kill it off again. Strong showing from the PK without regulars in Bergeron, Chara and Carlo.
10:08: Bruins heading back on the PK after Krejci is called for interference. B's are on the ropes, getting outshot
9:56: Third period underway.
9:40: Bruins holding a 2-1 lead at the end of 40 minutes. Just three shots on goal for the Bruins in the middle stanza.
9:39: Halak steaming after a flurry of chances from Arizona. He wanted goalie interference.
9:35: Brutal Arizona turnover leads to another chance by Acciari, but his shot in the slot is reeled in by Kuemper.
9:30: And with 5:33 remaining in the second period, Anders Bjork lands Boston's first SOG of the stanza.
9:27: Bruins with just seven shots on goal this game — and none this period with 6:50 to go in the stanza.
9:21: Brad Richardson makes it a 2-1 game with 10:50 left in the second. Bad turnover by Connor Clifton on a puck that skittered out to the slot.
9:10: Bruins with zero SOG during that power play.
9:09: Halak denies Grabner on a 2-on-0 with Stepan. Grabner with four shorthanded goals already this season.
9:07: Ekman-Larsson with a dangerous hit on DeBrusk just 59 seconds into the stanza and Bruins head back on the power play.
9:04: B's back out for the second. Kampfer is back on the bench to start the period.
8:48: END FIRST: Bruins take a 2-0 lead of Arizona. Have to be impressed with the effort from Boston with a decimated roster. Noel Acciari has been all over the ice tonight. Effort level noticeably much better tonight.
8:44: Grzelcyk makes it 3-0 in the closing minutes of the first, but the goal is waved off due to goaltender interference.
8:40: B's kill it off. Great stuff from Acciari so far tonight.
8:38: Bruins head right back on the kill after Kuraly is whistled for a trip.
8:34: Bruins with a fantastic shift on the PK and it leads to a penalty on Arizona. Bruins get around 59 seconds on the power play.
8:33: A look at the hit that has sent Kampfer to the room.

- The Bruins will be without Patrice Bergeron for Saturday's matchup, with the B's top-line center set to return back to Boston to undergo additional testing after getting slammed into the boards on Friday against the Stars. John Moore (lower-body injury) will also be sent back to Boston, while Zdeno Chara will officially be re-evaluated in four weeks after suffering an MCL injury against Colorado on Wednesday.
- “Upper body,” Bruce Cassidy said after Friday’s game of Bergeron's injury. “He’ll be evaluated obviously, better, in the morning. Right now, he was having a tough time finishing, so it would lead me to believe he’d have a tough time playing (Saturday), but he’s also a tough guy. So we’ll see how it is. He does have a few days in between games. There’s that to look at. But at the end of the day, we have to find out the extent of the injury and go from there.”
- On the second leg of a back-to-back, look for Boston to once again roll out a young defense with Jeremy Lauzon, Connor Clifton and Jakub Zboril all expected to get another look following Friday’s matchup. Lauzon in particular was impressive against the Stars, logging 5:49 of shorthanded TOI on a PK that went a perfect 4-for-4 against Dallas.
- The Coyotes are also dealing with some injuries on their blue line, as Jason Demers will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury on Thursday against Nashville.
- One matchup to watch Saturday is special teams — as Boston boasts a power play that has tallied a league-high 20 goals on the man advantage this season. But Arizona should be up for the test, with the Coyotes PK only relinquishing five goals all season while scoring 10 shorthanded goals of their own.
- Since beating the Bruins back on Oct. 9, 2010 in Prague, the Coyotes are 0-11-1 against Boston.
