Marcus Smart was ejected from Saturday’s preseason matchup with the Cavs following a tussle with Cavs guard J.R. Smith.
The dustup started with Smith and Aron Baynes getting tied up while getting into position for a rebound. After locking up arms for several seconds, Smith shoved Baynes, causing both players to be separated by players, coaches and officials. While Smith was being held back, Smart charged in from the other end of the court and shoved Smith in the back. Jayson Tatum and Terry Rozier spent several seconds holding Smart back from engaging further with Smith. Smart was then ejected after a video review.

The NBA decided not to further discipline JR Smith for his dangerous mid-air push on Al Horford at the end of Game 2. Should he have been suspended? (And YES, people, we've seen all of you making jokes that keeping him in the lineup is what actually hurts the Cavs more...) pic.twitter.com/zKMJWBglRO
