The Boston Bruins entered their 2018 training camp with plenty of promise — along with a slew of questions regarding the overall makeup of the roster and the ceiling of its young core.

Twenty-three days, eight preseason tuneups and one eventful trip to China later, the Bruins are set to play meaningful hockey once again — starting tonight against the reigning Stanley Cup champions in the Washington Capitals.
