FOXBOROUGH — Revolution manager Brad Friedel clarified his post-game comments from Saturday night’s 4-1 loss to Toronto FC, specifically that of his recorded comment regarding who “unbalanced” the team in the second half.
Following the game, Friedel said, “We had to make a change at halftime. Scotty (Caldwell) rolled his ankle pretty bad, and he was hobbling around the field a little bit. We brought Diego (Fagundez) on and that just completely unbalanced the team, which it shouldn’t have done. We stopped winning all the second balls in the middle, and that’s where Toronto’s very good.”
