FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots are on a short week, so take it for what it's worth. But tight end Rob Gronkowski was not spotted at the start of Tuesday's walkthrough, held under gray skies behind Gillette Stadium. With the condensed week -- if the game is Thursday night, then Tuesday is fundamentally Friday -- it appears unlikely that Gronkowski will be able to go against the Colts.
It's also worth noting that Julian Edelman was present, as well as Elandon Roberts and Adam Butler. Roberts and Butler were injured late in Sunday's win over the Dolphins. And with Gronkowski on the sidelines, it was a good sign for New England that tight end Jacob Hollister was on the field at the start of the workout. He had struggled with health issues lately, including a chest injury he sustained at practice late last month.
We'll know a lot more about the health status of all five when the injury report is released at 4 p.m.

Here’s the complete injury report for Friday
Ultimately, I'd be shocked if Gronkowski was able to go. Likewise Rowe. Waddle's illness might be a temporary thing -- he was in the locker room on Monday chatting with reporters, which means there's a possibility he'll be good to go on Thursday. But we shall see.
