A few quick notes while thinking about the fact that at this time next week, Julian Edelman will be back in the building...
--Usually, the Patriots are in on Monday for film, treatment and meetings, and get Tuesday off. This week, because of the Sunday night game, that's been flipped. So we'll get a chance to talk to them for the first time Tuesday afternoon as they put the Detroit loss behind them and change their collective focus to the Dolphins.
--Stephon Gilmore entered Sunday's game as the only Patriot player to have been on the field for every possible defensive snap this past year. He sat for three snaps Sunday night. Tom Brady, Trent Brown, Shaq Mason, Joe Thuney and David Andrews are last five Patriots to have played every possible snap through first 3 games of the season.
