BSJ Daily Briefing 09.18.18: Josh Gordon is a Patriot, Sox try to clinch AL East

Good morning!

• After seemingly years of speculation, Josh Gordon landed in New England on Monday afternoon in what appears to be a classic low-risk, high reward move by the Patriots. Greg takes a very intriguing look at how the Pats got to this point on the receiver front and how it all relates to Gordon.


• Will be very curious to see just how soon Gordon is ready for action after tweaking his hamstring over the weekend. Pats don't have the depth to be very patient on that front.


• Sox magic number to clinch the AL East is two, so they will have a chance to wrap things up at Yankee Stadium this afternoon.
