NFL Power Rankings, Week 2: Chiefs, Vikings, Bucs, and Jets on the move as season gets underway taken at BSJ Headquarters (Patriots)

Not a ton of surprises in Week 1, which means a lot of our big board stays absolutely the same. The big movers? The Chiefs, Ravens, Bucs, and Jets. And what happened to the Saints, Bills, and Cardinals? Read on to see where your favorite team lands.

1. Eagles (1-0 — last week, No. 1): Not great, and they probably only won because of some of the Falcons’ missteps. But when you’re the defending Super Bowl champs and you beat a team that’s in the Top 10, you get to keep your spot. This week: at Bucs.

2. Patriots (1-0 — last week, No. 2): Also not great, but at this time of year, coaches can oftentimes make more of a difference than players. Unless you’re talking about Rob Gronkowski. There’s no stopping that guy. This week: at Jaguars

3. Rams (1-0 — last week, No. 3): Los Angeles is stacked. Great second half against the Raiders. This week: vs. Cardinals.

4. Vikings (1-0 — last week, No. 5): Hard not to be impressed with Minnesota’s win over the Niners in the home opener. This week: at Packers.

5. Jaguars (1-0 — last week, No. 6): Jalen Ramsey vs. Gronkowski in a rematch of the AFC title game? What have we done to deserve such good fortune? This week: vs. Patriots.

6. Saints (0-1 — last week, No. 4): What was that? Seriously? I mean, if there was ever a time for the LeBron James-J.R. Smith meme to be used in the NFL, it’s everyone looking at Sean Payton and the New Orleans defense. This week: vs. Browns.

7. Packers (1-0 — last week, No. 9): Aaron Rodgers is a wizard. That’s all there is to it. This week: vs. Vikings.

8. Falcons (0-1 — last week, No. 7): First Keanu Neal, now Deion Jones. Is that Jordan Richards’ music? This week: vs. Panthers.

9. Steelers (0-0-1 — last week, No. 8): Not sure what to make of Pittsburgh right now. They could be poised to rebound, or the Le’Veon Bell deal could get even uglier. Should be tested Sunday. This week: vs. Chiefs.

10. Panthers (1-0 — last week, No. 11): Tempted to move Carolina past Pittsburgh, but we’ll reserve judgment on the Panthers for now. Strong win in the opener, though. This week: at Falcons.

11. Texans (0-1 — last week, No. 10): Deshaun Watson looked tentative against the Patriots. Maybe that changes as the season rolls on? Houston certainly hopes so. This week: at Titans.

12. Ravens (1-0 — last week, No. 16): Giving Baltimore a big bump based on its absolute throttling of the Bills. The most decisive Week 1 win across the league. And the Ravens' band has the best air drummer in the NFL.
