Good morning!
- It was a win the Red Sox didn't really need or were counting on after resting most of their regulars, but it doesn't get much sweeter than Wednesday's 9-8 comeback win in Atlanta. Per MLB, that was the first time a team had rallied down from six runs in the eighth inning or later all year.
- Great story by Sean on the hero of the day in Brandon Phillips, who will be eligible for the postseason roster. Not sure there will be room for him with all the other infield options but if he gets hot for the rest of the month, maybe he'll get consideration.
- Favorite part of his bomb? The fact that the Braves left fielder didn't even move a muscle.
- NFL season kicks off tonight in Philly with the defending champs hosting the Falcons. Was surprised to see the line (-2 Eagles) so low for this one. I guess Wentz is out but thought Philly would get more respect than that.
