WHAT’S UP: We’re at eight matches and counting without a win for the Revs ... does the streak end tonight? Portland got its first win in nearly a month this past Wednesday, and has won 16 of the last 20 in the league. Is that a harbinger of things to come tonight?

The Revs are in the home navy blues, headed to the Banner End as we begin. Portland gets us started headed toward The Fort. Periodic updates below.
1' Revs coming out with a touch of verve! Through ball to Bunbury into the box, and he and Attinella collide. Teal's OK, Antinella is still down. Mabiala is, too. But he gets up a few minutes later. About 3 1/2 minutes gone.
9' Quick corner by Caldwell, Penilla drives in, ball goes off Rowe at the near post and over the end line for a goal kick.
10' Ten minutes in and we've had all of 6 1/2 minutes of action. And it hasn't been great.
11' Diego with a nutmeg into space, he regains it, dribbles, dribbles, dribbles, shooooots.... over the bar.
13' Blanco gets a telling off after he whacked Caldwell off the back of the head.
15' Second corner for the Revs is a quickie, and it leads to a third. Third one is cleared away.
16' Free kick sees Penilla take it and drive it across the face of goal. Portland had no one at the back post, and that's what Penilla tried to do there.
19' Blanco goes into the referee's book for that foul on Caldwell.
26' Shot by Penilla punched, Caicedo with a pass to Fagundez, pass to Rowe, taken away by the Timbers.
30' Dive by Guzman leads to a free kick 23 yards away, and the kick goes waaaay wide.
32' Bunbury gets close with some nice moves, but Portland clears it.
44' Blanco's scuffer off the corner calls Turner into action.
45' Three minutes minimum of stoppages.

Halftime thoughts:
Revs have had a good deal of the possession, but haven't been too creative in trying to make things happen. No ups, no downs so far... leaning down on a couple.
Need a cookie.
Revs had 60 percent possession in the first half. Haven't made too many things happen.
By the way.... the Revs started the slump when they switched out the Toto version of Africa for Weezer.
Second half is underway, Revs headed toward The Fort.
Agudelo on for Fagundez to start the second half. Huge.
47' Asprillia with a go, it's wide.
53' Bunbury with a go, and it's into the Lighthouse Tunnel.
54' Attinella back down after a goal kick, and Portland's backup keeper Steve Clark getting ready to come in. He will be Portland's first sub in the 56'.
58' GOAL REVOLUTION... AND IT'S SCOTT CALDWELL! PARTY IN THE USA! Caldwell in the right place as Bunbury crosses into the box. Rowe with a one-timer that Clark saved, but he can't keep hold of it. And Caldwell poaches for his first goal of 2018. 1-nil to the Revs.
60' Caicedo goes into the book for a tackle on Flores just barely outside the penalty area. That's a free kick 19 yards away.... Portland's shot is blocked by Penilla, and he starts a counter going 80 yards the other way. Caldwell with the shot, saved by Clark. Caicedo will miss Wednesday's game at NYCFC.
67' Olum with a yellow card.... Penilla's free kick off the wall and over for a corner.
69' Melano in for Paredes.
70' GOAL TIMBERS, and it's Lawrence Olum off a corner kick. Olum got away from Rowe on Guzman's service, Cascante headed it to Olum, and it's 1-1. Here we go again.
76' Caldwell goes into the referee's book. Yellow.
77' Zahibo in for Caldwell. Tuiloma on for Guzman.
80' Penilla with a blast near the spot, and it ends up in the first section next to the Tunnel. Ten minutes-plus for the Revs to find a winner.
83' Anibaba has a go, and it curls wide.
87' Mancienne goes into the book.
87' Penilla tries to flick it in, but it goes into the side netting.
90' Five minutes minimum added on. Penilla goes into the book. So, too, does Clark for time-wasting.
90+2' Blanco crosses... just misses a sliding Melano. If they connected, 2-1 to Portland.
