WHO: Revolution at New York Red Bulls
WHERE: Red Bull Arena, Harrison, NJ
WHEN: Saturday, July 21, 7 p.m.
TV/RADIO: NBC Sports Boston/WBZ-FM 98.5/1260 AM (Portuguese)
WHAT’S UP: The Revs will try to shake off the cobwebs and avert a three-match losing skid/four-match winless streak when they take on the archrival Red Bulls in Harrison, a place where they have not won in the regular season. New England knocked off the Scarlet Steers, 2-1, in Foxborough on June 2, and will hope the same magic strikes.

Sean here at the Farm. Dinner is ready: ham steak with a maple syrup/brown sugar glaze, pasta, and steamed zucchini from the garden. Yummy. Hope you're eating something tasty. The starting XI’s are up, and your match notes are below.

The match is underway. The Revs get us started, they are in the traditional navy blues. Periodic updates are below. And hey, shout-out to Paul Mariner for his 1920's gangster suit!

1' Lawrence shot corralled by Turner. Red Bulls attacking fast.

2' First corner of the match goes to the Red Bulls, and it's a solid header by Long that gets up and over. Goal kick.

5' Professional foul by Parker on Penilla. That should be yellow, but it's a telling off. Robles makes the catch on Fagundez's free kick.

8' Agudelo with a go, but it's blocked by Teal.

15' Penilla with a shot after some nice footballing moves by Fagundez and Caicedo.

17' First corner for New England. Zahibo with the shot, Robles handles it. But there's a dispossession, and Bunbury has a go. Blazes over.

23' Delamea wins the ball and gets taken down by BWP, he's wincing a bit... he's going to try and give it a go. He's a tough footballer. Comes after a couple of solid throw-ins.

24' He's down. Evan Allen coming out. Bye getting ready to potentially come in.

25' Revs down to 10 for the moment as Delamea getting treatment off to the side.

27' Delamea back on.

30' Long goes into the book for unsporting behavior.

32' Dangerous attack by New York.

35' Good attack by the Revs with a few long passes into space started by a brilliant tackle by Farrell. BRILLIANT TACKLE.

36' ALMOST for Bunbury. Great pass by Farrell that almost gets stopped by Lawrence. Fagundez tracks it all the way to the end line, he crosses, Bunbury gets a head on it, and Robles with the save.

37' Side volley by Zahibo goes over the bar.

40' Agudelo gets taken down hard by Kaku, and the latter goes into the book.

42' Dielna down hard after getting whacked in the face.

45' Good ideas by the Revs on a Dielna free kick. Three minutes minimum stoppage time.

HALF

Thoughts:

Great ideas offensively by New England, just waiting on that last finish. Defensively, Revs are doing the job necessary in the back line.

Second half underway

49' Bunbury goes down in the box after Parker hip checks him. Penalty in my eyes. Ref falls deaf.

51' Fantastic ball by Penilla to Bunbury, but TB10 heads it the wrong way. Mis-timed.

52' Big save by Turner as Murillo with a volley. Corner for the Red Bulls.

53' Murillo with a shot after nice moves into the box. Turner saves it.

57' Delamea goes into the book.

59' Caicedo into the book... that's after Penilla has a bad giveaway.

60' Wright-Phillips is offside after a free kick. Lucky for New England.

64' Long off for Collin.

67' ALMOST for New York. Kaku with a volley to Royer, his header is on the wrong side of the back post.

69' GOAL NEW YORK, and it's Royer off the free kick conceded by Dielna. The ball gets beyond Turner, and Royer scores. 1-nil to the Red Bulls.
