--No updates Wednesday morning on Julian Edelman's appeal. On 98.5 Tuesday night, Adam Jones asked me if I thought that if Edelman lost, there was a chance he'd continue the appeals process, something ESPN's Dan Graziano hinted at in his story. This is just my gut feeling, but I don't think so. At this point on the calendar -- with camp looming and him coming off injury -- I believe both the team and player want was much clarity regarding his status as possible. But we shall see.

--Officially inside of a month before training camp starts. Wednesday morning, the team announced the dates and times for the first four days of workouts. (Per the CBA, no pads the first two days...)

1. Greg has the first edition of the BSJ classroom, which offers a primer on the Patriots' passing game. This is really in-depth fun stuff, and a worthwhile read if you really consider yourself a football fan.
2. I spent some quality time Tuesday night talking about the Patriots and their interesting offseason with Jones. Good question we kicked around a bit -- where does this offseason rate in recent Patriots' history when it comes to the most eventful? My answer? It's not 2013 (Hernandez/Tebow/Welker), but I'd probably put it in the top 5.
3. Miguel has a notebook where he looks at a variety of Patriots-related cap things, including his take on Isaiah Wynn's contract and what might be holding up Sony Michel's deal.
4. Add Sammy Morris to the list of ex-Patriots moving up the coaching ranks. This is a great story -- happy for a good guy like Morris.
5. Jags cornerback Jalen Ramsey says ex-Pats QB Jimmy Garoppolo isn't worthy of a spot in the NFL Network's Top 100 just yet. "What he play -- five games?" asked Ramsey. "He has good potential. I think he'll be a good player, but off my experience in playing him, it was a lot of scheme stuff. It wasn't like he was just dicing us up. It was a lot of scheme stuff."
