Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I try to figure out the Twitter burner handles for Bill Belichick...
- In case you missed the big story in sports last night, TheRinger.com apparently uncovered through an anonymous tip (which used some sort of open-source data analysis — what?) that Sixers GM Bryan Colangelo had five anonymous Twitter accounts that he used to defend himself, criticize players, disclose unknown medical information and possible franchise moves.
- Really, it's wild.
- That Colangelo would have a collection of anonymous Twitter accounts is not unusual — every franchise in every sport (yes, even the Patriots) has people with them to monitor possible draft picks, the media, etc. What's unusual here is that Colangelo actually used them, and for his own benefit.
- Hard to see him surviving this. The circumstantial evidence is too damning.
- The Red Sox won again, and now even the players who couldn't hit to start the season are turning it around. Good timing with the Astros coming up after a matinee today.
- Marcus Smart or Terry Rozier. Which one would you keep? Do you think they will keep both of them?
