Columbus scores late off a set piece to break the deadlock: The corners were piling up late for the Crew thanks to loads of pressure, and Columbus managed to capitalize on one of them. Frederico Higuain laid a blazing ball deep into the penalty area, and Lalas Abubakar, who wheeled from one side of the penalty spot to the other, rose and met the ball with a stronger header that broke the deadlock, making the back of the net burp as the 85th minute expired.
