BSJ Weekend Briefing 04.13.18: Bruins, Sox victorious - Checking Toronto, NYC reaction taken at BSJ Headquarters (Regular Features)

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I still get the roar of the crowd and chants out of my ears from TD Garden last night. The place was rocking ...

  • Tremendous performance by the Bruins and, as a result, this matchup doesn't look as strong as we all thought. Things that could change that: injuries, suspensions and perhaps Toronto stealing a few games and making this an endurance series against the more experienced Bruins.

  • The Bruins just kept coming at the Leafs in waves. Line by line they just seemed to get the jump on their counterparts. Same went for the defense, too. Will say, think the Chara-McAvoy pairing is still a little sluggish from where it was before the injuries. So the Bruins can still improve. Scary.

  • Always like to see what the temperature is in the other city. What's being said in Toronto:
