Almost since the day we launched BostonSportsJournal.com back in July, I have heard from the fervent Revolution fans ... What about us?
Well, I'm pleased to announce that we are officially in on the Revs starting today.
And, as with everything else at BSJ, we are not just throwing a freelancer on the games and calling it a day.
Oh no. Not only do we have a beat writer, but we also have a soccer analyst who will break down each of the matches the next day. If you like what I do on football, well then you'll like what he does on futbol.
Let me introduce the BSJ Revs crew:
Sean Sweeney, who was born and raised in Fitchburg, will be our beat writer. Known for his folksy-yet-hard hitting, no-nonsense style, Sean has covered the New England Revolution for the Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise since 2014. He brings it with thought-provoking commentary, telling it the way it is and how it should be. A journalist since 1993, Sweeney lives in Bolton, Mass. You can follow Sean on Twitter here.

- small, independent and hungry;
- not looking to cash out ... we just want to write and cover your teams, and make a livable wage;
- only concerned with serving the needs of our members through constant interaction via the comments, Q&As, meet-ups ... everything.
