The Celtics had to wait about 20 minutes until their game ended for a first-round opponent, but their fate was finally sealed when the Raptors defeated the Heat in overtime. That result pushed the Milwaukee Bucks down to the No. 7 seed in the East (via a tiebreaker) and a first-round date with the Celtics.
With the Bruins playing at the TD Garden on Saturday night in their playoff series, look for the Celtics to host Game 1 at the Garden at some time on Sunday. A full schedule of the first-round series will be released later tonight by the league.
