BSJ Daily Briefing 04.11.18: Yankees roasted at Fenway and back home taken at BSJ Headquarters (Regular Features)

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while the weather tries to figure out if we're going to do this spring thing or nah...

  • What an absolute beatdown by the Yankees at the hands of the Red Sox. The first matchup between Alex Cora and Aaron Boone was a second-round knockout by the former.

  • Speaking of the manager matchup, I was looking for a .gif of Aaron Judge's home run, started typing in Aaron ... and these were the mentions:

  • So obviously things are going well in Yankeesland.

  • Love to peruse the New York papers after games like this one. A sampling:

  • A live look in on Cora

  • Elsewhere around the Hub, it's looking more and more likely the Celtics will draw the Wizards in Round 1 and that might be the worst possible outcome for them. A lot of scoreboard watching tonight at TD Garden.

  • Looks like Ryan Donato will be a healthy scratch for Game 1 for the Bruins. Not a big deal at all. He'll be heard from in what will likely be a long series. Even his mere presence will keep others on their toes, especially Jake DeBrusk.

  • Robert Kraft evidently visited the rapper Meek Mill in prison. I must be officially old because I have no idea who that is except I remember something about a rap beef with Drake. Sigh. Yes, I'm old.
