Price starts very strong: David Price's first regular-season start since late July couldn't have gone any better. Price was both effective and efficient, tossing seven shutout innings while allowing just four hits -- all singles -- and no walks while fanning five. He also needed just 76 pitches through seven, an average of just over 10 per frame. Rafael Devers knocked in the game's only run with a single to center, scoring Xander Bogaerts from second. The tag team of Matt Barnes and Craig Kimbrel handled the final two innings, allowing just one baserunner between them.
