WALTHAM -- The Celtics announced on Monday afternoon that Marcus Smart will be sidelined indefinitely after suffering a sprained right thumb during Sunday's loss to the Pacers. Shams Charania of the Vertical reports that Smart suffered a torn tendon in his right thumb and will be out for a significant amount of time to recover from the injury.

With 9:25 left in the third quarter.
He, of course, did not left and have finished the game, hitting 3 of his 6 threes after tearing a tendon. pic.twitter.com/eatKZrlYen
