Video: Tyler Thornburg throws his first bullpen of the spring

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Tyler Thornburg didn't pitch an inning for the Red Sox last season and eventually underwent surgery to correct thoracic outlet syndrome.

Wednesday was a milestone for him as he threw his first official bullpen of 2018.

"It felt pretty darn good,'' said Thornburg. "It's one of those feelings that you realize you miss a lot when you don't do it for a year.''
