Just like any season, the Celtics' braintrust is already hard at work evaluating top potential prospects for the 2018 NBA Draft. Several members of the front office were in attendance in Portland at the PK80 Tournament on Thanksgiving weekend to watch top prospects from Duke (Marvin Bagley), Texas (Mo Bamba) and several other teams. On Tuesday morning, a source told BostonSportsJournal.com that Danny Ainge would be in attendance in Phoenix to get a firsthand look at potential top-5 center DeAndre Ayton match up against a top-tier defensive big man in Robert Williams III (another potential lottery pick) in the Arizona-Texas A&M matchup.
Here's a look at Ainge catching up with Bill Walton on the floor before Tuesday's game.
