Answer: When a team like the Patriots make so many transactions I do not expect all of them to work out. The Patriots' front office does not have to be perfect. It just has to better than average to be successful. It is. The Patriots are one of the few teams in the NFL that utilizes all of the available avenues of player acquisitions to add players to its 53-man roster. They are:
