David Andrews (illness) will miss Sunday's game -- who will take his place?

David Andrews will miss the first game of the year Sunday, as the center was downgraded to out for this weekend’s clash with the Raiders.


The third-year center, who was listed by the team as suffering from an undisclosed illness, will likely see backup Ted Karras get the nod Sunday. Andrews, who hasn’t given up a pressure in the last four games, won’t be the only starting offensive lineman out this weekend, as right tackle Marcus Cannon (ankle) will also be out, as well as wide receivers Chris Hogan (shoulder) and Matthew Slater (hamstring).

In addition, the following players were listed as questionable: wide receiver Danny Amendola (knee), tight end Martellus Bennett (shoulder/hamstring), defensive tackles Malcom Brown (ankle), defensive end Cassius Marsh (shoulder) and cornerback Eric Rowe (groin). They were all limited on Friday, along with defensive tackle Alan Branch (neck), who was on the injury report earlier in the week.
