David Andrews (illness) officially listed as DNP for Patriots on Thursday

David Andrews did not participate in Thursday’s practice because of an illness, according to the Patriots.


The center, who played every snap of the first eight-plus games, was not at Thursday’s session, which puts his availability for Sunday’s game against the Raiders in doubt. If Andrews is unable to go, expect New England to turn to backup Teddy Karras.

In addition to Andrews, offensive tackle Marcus Cannon (ankle) and wide receivers Chris Hogan (shoulder) and Matthew Slater (hamstring) were officially listed as DNPs.

The Patriots also had six players listed as “limited” on Thursday: wide receiver Danny Amendola (knee), tight end Martellus Bennett (shoulder/hamstring), defensive tackles Malcom Brown (ankle) and Alan Branch (neck), defensive end Cassius Marsh (shoulder) and cornerback Eric Rowe (groin).
