Bruins recall goalie Zane McIntyre as a precaution

With Tuukka Rask's status in question, the Bruins have recalled goalie Zane McIntyre from Providence.



During Wednesday’s practice, rookie Anders Bjork collided with Rask and he needed to be helped off the ice. After practice, Bruce Cassidy did not have an immediate update on the veteran goalie. If Rask doesn't respond well to treatment on Thursday, McIntyre will likely serve as backup to Anton Khudobin against the Vancouver Canucks Thursday night at TD Garden.

In three games for the P-Bruins, McIntyre is 2-1-0 with a 2.35 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.
