The Celtics appeared to finalize their opening night roster on Thursday night by waiving four training camp invites. Daniel Dixon, Jonathan Holmes, L.J. Peak and Andrew White were all given their release by the team as preseason came to an end. Only White and Peak saw any time for Boston during the exhibition season, each playing a few minutes in the fourth quarter of Monday's win over the Sixers.
All four players could be picked up by the Maine Red Claws in the coming weeks since Boston's G-League affiliate will hold each player's rights after being waived by the parent club.
