Quarterback Tom Brady suffered a left shoulder injury in the loss to Carolina last month, and re-aggravated the injury last Thursday against Tampa Bay, a league source has confirmed to Greg Bedard of Bostonsportsjournal.com.
By all accounts, Brady suffered an AC joint sprain in his non-throwing shoulder, but is expected to play through the issue, which means he should be good to go for Sunday’s game against the Jets in North Jersey. He is one of four players on the roster who has not missed an offensive snap through the first five games of the season.
The quarterback was not spotted at the start of Tuesday’s practice on the fields behind Gillette Stadium.
