Tom Brady and Eric Rowe were the only two players not seen at the start of Patriots practice on Tuesday afternoon, according to those in attendance,
Brady hasn’t been on the injury report as of late, but the quarterback has taken some serious hits over the last couple of weeks. He seemed to shake off any worries about injury however -- after the game, he said what he went through against Tampa was “just football. ... I’ll be there next Sunday.” It's also worth noting that the Patriots don't have to divulge a reason why he wasn't out there today, as the first injury report of the week comes tomorrow.
As for Rowe, he’s been struggling with a groin injury over the last few games, and missed last Thursday’s contest against the Bucs.
One notable returnee who was spotted at the start of practice was tight end Rob Gronkowski, who missed Thursday’s game with a thigh issue.
It was the first workout of the week for the Patriots, who will face the Jets Sunday in North Jersey.
