The Patriots look like they’re getting some good news on the injury front, as running back Rex Burkhead (ribs) is the only one on the roster listed as “doubtful” for Sunday’s game against the Panthers. Burkhead, who missed last week’s game against the Texans as well as the first two practices of this week, was limited on Friday.
Meanwhile, Dont’a Hightower (knee) was spotted in the locker room, and while he didn’t talk with reporters, but certainly appears there’s a good chance he’ll be good to go for Sunday’s game against Carolina. Hightower and three others — offensive tackle Marcus Cannon (ankle/concussion), cornerback Eric Rowe (groin) and wide receiver Matthew Slater (hamstring) were all listed as questionable.
